VietJet currently operates 39 domestic routes and 69 international routes.
The low-budget carrier recently announced the launch of two new international routes: Ho Chi Minh City–Tokyo and Nha Trang–Busan, Dan Tri reports. Passengers can now start booking their flights for trips in July when the two routes go into operation.
The Saigon–Tokyo route will start operating from July 12 on a daily basis. Flights from Saigon will depart at 12:05am and arrive at Narita Airport in Tokyo at 8am local time. Flights from Narita Airport to Saigon will depart at 9am local time and arrive at 1:05pm at Tan Son Nhat Airport. The flying time is approximately six hours per leg.
From July 16, VietJet will also offer four Nha Trang–Busan flights per week. Flights from Nha Trang will take off at 11:50pm and arrive in Busan, South Korea at 6:30pm local time. Return flights depart from Busan at 8:05am local time and land in Nha Trang at 10:45am. Each leg takes approximately four hours and 40 minutes.
According to the news source, the aim of launching these flights is to meet traveling demands of people from these locations, promote trade and connect popular tourism cities.
